Designing with the Planet in Mind
Here’s how we ensure our design choices respect the planet:
- Our suppliers hold leading certifications, including FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and ISO 14001, ensuring responsible forest management and robust environmental practices. Many are also TSCA Title VI Compliant and CATAS members, meeting rigorous safety and testing standards.
- Several of our manufacturers operate with on-site solar panel systems (up to 250kW), significantly reducing their carbon footprint through renewable energy.
- The majority of fabrics used are EU ECOLABEL, Confidence in Textiles, and REACH certified, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and responsibly produced. Metal components are coated with paints certified for health and indoor air quality.
- To minimise paper waste, suppliers utilise electronic systems for customer service, order tracking, and reporting — eliminating the need for printed documentation and enabling smarter, greener production workflows.
- Many of our products are up to 95% recyclable, with minimal-waste production and replacement parts to extend lifespan. Where possible, we work with suppliers who create custom, 90%+ recyclable packaging in-house.
- Products are developed and tested to meet Hygiene Approved standards, ensuring they remain safe and clean throughout their lifecycle.
